WILD GOOSE STUDIO ....
...began many years ago with John Durham, Artist,Dreamer & Founder from New Orleans as a young child on the streets.
The concept developed slowly as a dream at first and while working at his Studio in his home town near the Gulf Coast it all became real after he saw this neat old place that he wanted since high school and as the first boy cheerleader, a lady told him to walk around the place and claim it.
He has been in art work most of his life. He has helped to preserve a neat old house in the National Park...Hot Springs Arkansas. It was a unique olde Boarding House created by two sisters from England. Today because of his work and never giving up, he proved to the Government that it was important and it is now listed on The National registry of Historical Places.
Wild Goose Studio became a reality when John acquired the property in his home town of Slidell and he created The Wild Goose Cottage across the street from his olde High School.
John then acquired a unique piece, it was the old Forestry Office of 1960. John lived their for awhile. While on the property, he discovered a 135 year old log cabin that was used by an justice of the peace to marry folks. Later in the 80's a movie was maded on the hill. Now the products and services of WILD GOOSE are in demand and you can find them in over twenty location for resale and marketing.
Today Wild Goose has grown to be a concept received by many for as they build they also save and preserve a part of History with the wood they use.If you would like to be a part of creating art and putting it back into schools and showing arts and crafts at shows, events and festivals and then helping to preserve neat ole places: Contact Wild Goose Today and JOIN JOHN and THE TEAM and become a sponsor and supporter.
